At BACK ROAD MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURES
you ride your own motorcycle, thus
you need not worry about getting
familiar with something that you
have not ridden before.
For four nights beautiful San Luis
Obispo will be your home away from
home. There is no need for packing
and unpacking or daily putting your
luggage in a chase van. At the end
of the riding day sit back and relax
in a three star suite.
Salinas
Valley/California Coast Ride
On Monday or Thursday
we ride north through
the winding roads of the Nacimiento
and San Antonio Recreation Areas in
which we will enjoy views of vast
canyons and oak filled hills. We
will then meander through the
backside of Salinas Valley and
California’s Salad Bowl area before
we head West over the California
Coastal range down into the Carmel
Valley. There we will have lunch
where you will enjoy the rustic
atmosphere...(more)
San Andrea/Creston
Ride
On
Tuesday or
Friday we will have a
relaxing ride beginning with two of
my favorite little roads that wind
through the valley of the bears up
and over the mountains into the wine
country of San Luis Obispo County.
The roads snake through almond and
olive orchards and we will pass by
many wineries that you will want to
visit at a later date. Then on to
San Miguel Mission...

Solvang/Historical
Fremont Ride
On Wednesday or
Saturday
we ride South through the Edna
Valley then over 227 into the Santa
Maria Valley. Then we will follow
California History and ride the
route Lt. Col. John Fremont rode in
1846. We will then ride the early
California stagecoach route up, with
a side bar into the million dollar
homes of the Santa Ynez Valley. On
Wednesday we will lunch at

Sunday Wine Tasting
Sundays only, for
those wishing to do a little wine
tasting we will pick you up (no
motorcycling today) and guide you to
some of the lesser published
wineries in our area. We will return
to the hotel and sadly bid you
farewell with hope to see you again.
Downtown San Luis Obispo
For those couples that take part in
BRMA if their spouse one day does
not want to ride the hotel is easy
walking distance to downtown to
shopping and maybe a visit to Old
Mission San Luis. There is also a
trolley for getting around town and
also a shuttle from the hotel. |
