Solvang/Historical Fremont Ride

On Wednesday or Saturday we ride South through the Edna Valley then over 227 into the Santa Maria Valley. Then we will follow California History and ride the route Lt. Col. John Fremont rode in 1846. We will then ride the early California stagecoach route up, with a side bar into the million dollar homes of the Santa Ynez Valley. On Wednesday we will lunch at one of the favorite eateries in Buellton. On Saturday we will be treated to a fine Bar-B-Que then down into the Danish town of Solvang, this is my home town. On Saturdays only we will stop at the finest small motorcycle museum anywhere. One of the bikes won best in show at Corsa at Willow Springs in 2006. Then out past the sites in the movie Sideways, over through the Valley of Flowers, back through the West side of Santa Maria Valley and the lesser traveled Highway 1.Then back into San Luis Obispo Saturdays ride will include a Bar-B-Que dinner at my home.
